“ Gorditas de pastor 10/10 Tacos de suadero 10/10 The place does get busy at times, and they have you form a line to pay after finishing your food. This the same line as well for take out orders so if it’s busy and you trying to make a to go order, it won’t be fast service... ”
“ Great place for some tacos. I see a lot of diversity in terms of the clientele who come here which I think is really cool, I think a lot of them come from the nearby university. I’m not a huge fan of the new method of paying where they make you stand in line after you eat and takes forever maybe 15-20min on average but other than that I’ve been coming here for years and enjoyed it all. ”
“ Wow what a gem. We came at 10 pm on Wednesday night and ordered carnitas and pastor tacos. Great green salsa here. Red wasn't my favorite but we would return again in the future to try other kinds of meats. Table service and music was great as well. ”

“ This was my first time eating here I will most definitely be coming back I ordered 2 sopes, 5 thin sliced beef tacos, and 1 chicken quesadillas frita and it was fresh all the condiments and silverware and napkins was in the bag without me asking my order was correct the food was cooked to perfection I can’t complain the customer service was on point it was busy in this restaurant as well but I enjoyed it this was a great experience ”
“ Authentic! Delicious food!! Mexico City style food ( Puro Df ) as their sign said. This is not Tex-Mex. I stopped to pick up lunch and it was very busy but service was very fast. I noticed several call in ordered as people where coming and going. The hot sauces are HOT and tasted good! I ordered the Gorditas and Pastor Tacos. I will definitely return. The portions are just right and you get onions and cilantro and limes with your tacos if you don’t like any of the items make sure you tell them. I opted for everything since it brings all the flavors out when eating these street tacos. Delicious! ”

WHAT WE ORDERED: • Tacos & Gorditas (Pollo, Bistec, Pastor) PRICE: really cheap! We ordered a lot of to go food so it’s not really accurate but I believe it was under 20 for 2 people. THE VIBE: not really a vibe it’s more of a hole in the wall place but you know it’s bc they have the best food. WOULD I COME BACK? Yes! Been here at least 5x already. •••• Overall Rating: 10/10 - One of the best if not the best authentic local taco places ever!!! Chilangos Tacos & Tacos La Banqueta will forever be both my top 2 authentic taco places! They are definitely a local gem. - The tacos are tiny but mighty. I love how small they chop up the meat because it just makes it easier to eat. The gorditas are filled with flavor and the bread is just so yummy. I really recommend the flour tortillas because I love how fluffy they are compared to the corn tortillas. The salsa is so spicy but in the best way possible. Highly recommend! ”
